This book comprises a portfolio of portraits of over one hundred
incredible gowns from the entire era of Christian Dior haute couture,
including dresses designed by Dior himself. All of the images were shot
by Patrick Demarchelier, known for his exquisite fashion portraits that
grace the pages of Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, and many other magazines.
Demarchelier describes the designs best by saying, “When you’re a fashion photographer, you must inspire a dream, with Dior Haute Couture, the dream is already there.”
eine zeit lang hab ich den haute couture-shows mit galliano entgegengefiebert aber ab ca. 2009 waren die rgendwie nicht mehr so toll wie früher. ganz ganz toll war die mit dem ägypten-thema (ca. 2004) und die mit janne d'arc und erst die mit dem asien-japan-'kokosan'-thema *schwelg*
